I've never been to Hawaii but my cap as, several of my work mates have been this was a present from one of them. Hawaii for most people over here is a once in a lifetime trip mainly because it's halfway round the world and rather expensive to get there.
Luckily I know a family that go there on a regular basis and I get to see the sights the travel brochures don't know about.
Being afraid of flying (crashing) kind of limits my travel ambitions. There's not many place on the UK mainland that I have not been but I have always been on terra firma.
