Whitsuntide weekend.

Locke Park Barnsley.
Brass Bands and Country music in the bandstand, hundreds of classic cars, kiddies fun fair and snacks. There was also a sort of dog show, bring your pet kind of thing. The sun shone on Barnsley today after a week of rain.

There are no original models of these armored cars in existence, this is a mock up built by the gent sitting on the running board.

It got really muddy lots of cars got stuck and had to be towed out.

The bolt was in too tight for the Allen key to face this meant me having to buy a socket with Allen key set, just the job. Every thing went perfect the bolts came out easily the break pads released off the disc; I've never had a job that's gone so well. 

The left hand disc and caliper. With a screwdriver the spring clip just needs the tension taking off.

Then with the studs removed everything just falls to pieces.

Right hand side, the longest part of the job was jacking the car up and taking the wheel off.

The road trip Huddersfield to Rawmarsh via Penistone.

Joining the A629 Penistone Road for the journey home, I never come home the same way that I go,

mainly because I get lost and take my direction from the sun, if it's raining I get really lost.

Usually I travel from pub to pub.

journey with Emley Moor in the centre.
