Red Admiral Butterfly the first I have seen this year.
Waiting for the bus, going for a walk. Which ever bus comes we jump on, go the furthest it goes (before turning back on itself) we get off and walk home. This is Una's routine almost everyday so much so if she is not at the bus stop, the bus drivers wait for her (her own private taxi service).
She takes many different routes home, talks to countless people on the way.
One of the routes takes her through the old cemetery (Rawmarsh has three). This grave stone took my eye Army Cyclist Corps.
On our way to Bridlington East Yorkshire.
It's been a good dry month for the farmers harvest time and hay making.
The seaside is not the same with out the kids.
Slots.
Bridlington Harbour. This used to be full with fishing trawlers when I was a boy, it seems there is not plenty more fish in the sea (so much for that old saying).
Dewsbury West Yorkshire an old mill town but now in decline, it has a good open air market.
Dinner and a drink in Wetherspoons.
The English Defence League organised a rally through Rotherham in protest over the child abuse scandal that as been going on.
One of my Sunflowers.
Journeys end now for the walk home usually about an hour, unless we get talking to someone (then it's anyone's guess)
My new flag South Yorkshire, Yorkshire first English second.
Dempseys Sheffield for our dinner today, when we got home and told our Stuart where we had our dinner he just laughed and said "Dempseys it's a Gay Bar didn't you know"
Food was OK and I was with Una so I was safe I think.
The Moor Sheffield.
Peace Gardens Sheffield.
Town Hall Sheffield.
Rotherham General Hospital got the results of my PSA blood test all is well.
The last day of September, turning the allotment over ready for winter. Nothing else to do until next year.
