Three days of gale force winds have blown three trees down in the Haugh Road Cemetery.
The school at the other side of the wall is the one I went to age 11 to 15.
There wasn't any railings on the wall when I was there, instead 6 strokes of the cane was dealt out to anyone going into the cemetery for any reason during school hours.
Trees don't have very deep roots makes me wonder how on earth they stand for so long!
One or two graves have been dislodged but to be honest lots of them are not in good fettle at the best of times.
Just checking for bodies or hidden treasure, luckily no bodies same goes for the treasure.
Just like Sleepy Hollow.

1st January 2015.
Today the snow has all gone, a great start to the new year.
As was on the 27/12/14. Just 2" of snow not 4'.
The snow fell on the night of the 26th, no snow plough or gritting as been done on the side streets chaos rules. The council must think it will not last so it would be a waste of money doing anything about it. Monk Wood and Manor Farm were totally cut off, no buses ran up there for four days.
